How to Solve a Battleship Puzzle

Use the clues given to uncover the fleet of ships hidden within each puzzle! The numbers on the end of each row and column tell you the number of ship segments in that row or column. No ship can touch any other ship, even diagonally. A key at the bottom of each puzzle will tell you exactly how many ships of each size are hidden in your grid. Use the clues given to begin: a circle desginates a complete 1-segment ship, a U-shaped piece designates the stern or bow of a ship (i.e. a start- or end-segment), and a square indicates a known middle-segment of a ship that is made up of 3 or more segments). Each puzzle can be solved using pure logical deduction. Good luck!
